The Battle of Granera also known as Arkara Day was a coordinated Attack conducted on the Earth Federation and Londo Bell Colony of Granera, on March 22nd, of UC.181.
The Battle lasted 2 and a half days, as in the early hours, the Colony had fallen under Arkara Occupation, but would be liberated on March 23rd, by the newly reformed and up to date Principality of Zeon.
Although defeated, by the Principality of Zeon, the Arkara Empire, declared war on the United Orbital Nations, whom unknown to them had already declared war on them a day prior to the Liberation.
The Battle of Granera would mark the first major and opening Engagement beginning the Arkara War.
