The Battle of Valium was a strategic key engagement in the Zeon Civil War, during the First Invasion of Eris-7 between the Principality of Zeon, and Zenora Empire for control of the city on the continent of Hairoku.

Valium was set to be the main key city that the Principality of Zeon wanted to establish a foothold on the planet, but due to miss drops and most of the Zeon Invasion force being bogged down in the surrounding countryside's of Eris-7, Valium was never able to be conquered by the Principality of Zeon.

The failure at Valium, including another strategic failure during the Attack on JuAsha Fortress eventually led to the Principality of Zeon being completely surrounded by October 29th, UC 0098 in the country sides of the city, and forced to abandon the planet.
