The Negotiations of Side 3, was a historical turn of events in the Zeon Civil War on May 1st UC.111, following Earth Federation forces negotiating with the Principality of Zeon in hopes of an alliance against Neo Zeon and ending the war that had already lasted for 14 long years.
The Negotiations, were conducted by the Federation's Londo Bell Unit who arrived at Side 3, where a single group of Zeon forces consisting of 12 Musai Cruisers, and 1 Dolos Carrier were waiting. Just before the Principality were about to agree to the terms given to them by the Federation, Neo Zeon attacked in desperate hopes of stopping the Negotiations, by destroying the Londo Bell battle group.
Though Londo Bell had taken some losses, they had managed to escape inside Side 3 while under cover from the Principality of Zeon, forcing Neo Zeon to retreat in failure.
The Negotiations were signed 3 hours after the skirmish, and the Principality of Zeon was now apart of the United Orbital Nations. Feared and Outnumbered, Neo Zeon abandoned all hopes of attacks against the Principality of Zeon, and switch they're tactics from offense to Defense, it was also here that the Skirmish at Side 3 would be the final time Neo Zeon had ever attempted to Invade and threaten Zeon Space.
