Operation Nexus Storm commonly known as The Nexus Sector Campaign or The Nexus Offensive was a major Zeon Offensive in the early months of the Zeon Civil War, on the second year of the war, that was fought between the Principality of Zeon and Zenora Empire from May 29th, UC 0097 up to June 4th, UC 097, for strategic control of Nexus Sector, that was located at the time as the final official Zenora stronghold within Zeon Space.
The engagement, despite having severe losses on the Principality of Zeon, was conducted as a Zeon victory, with the liberation of Sierra Colony on June 4th, UC 0097.
The engagement alone, finally removed the Zenora Empire out of Zeon Space, but did not conclude the war, as the Zenora Empire launched a new counter offensive against the Principality of Zeon at Colonial, a newly established Zeon Colony, that was located amongst the border of Neutral Space, that was in close proximity of Mars.
Prior to the Events[]
Zeon forces gathered what they had left around Side 3, while at the sametime Heirshy created a vid log in hopes of gathering the attention of Zeon forces on Earth, that were left behind on the planet ever since the One Year War's end, and could not make it off of Earth, during the Battles of A Baoa Qu and Solomon in the last days of the war, and have since then been conducting raids on the planet, lead by Lieutenant Jonathan Fang, a One Year War Veteran who lost his commanding officer General Kevin Carter on April 29th, UC 0097, making him take over the command in his place.
