Operation Rubicon was a covert operation initiated by the Principality of Zeon in the final weeks of the One Year War using the Cyclops Team and Black Thunder in order to try and destroy the Second Federation Monster that was known as Gundam Alex, while at the same time gathering information on the Mobile Suits official status when compared to Gundam.
The Operation ended in failure leading to the death of Cyclops Team, and Black Thunder escaping Side 6 back to Solmon never to return.
Despite a failure, Gundam Alex which was piloted by Christina Mackenzie would be disabled and rendered inoperable for a few short days by Black Thunder during a Duel, where the mobile suit would eventually be finished off by Bernard Wiseman days later on December 23rd, UC 0079, where even though he would perish in the events of Operation Christmas it would lead to the Earth Federation losing its Second Gundam and knocking it out of the war entirely.
Prior to the Events[]
On December 9, the Principality of Zeon's Cyclops Team along side Heirshy attacked a Federation Forces base in the Arctic circle.
The primary objective of Operation Rubicon was to capture or destroy the Earth Federation Forces (EFF) secretly developed mobile suit, the RX-78NT-1 Gundam NT-1, hidden at the neutral Ribo colony in Side 6. If both options were to fail, Zeon would resort to an illegal nuclear strike against the colony.
Engagement[]
At 23:00 Operation Rubicon starts. Cyclops Team left the Granada lunar base where Von Helsing's fleet launched an diversionary attack on Ribo.
Bernard Wiseman, along with a disassembled MS-18E Kämpfer, were transported aboard a disguised military ship to the colony on Decembver 15th, UC 0079, Heirshy would be the first to enter the Colony before Team Cyclops where he was given orders to obtain the Data Information section of the engagement while Team Cyclops were responsible for salvaging operations.
From December 16th to December 17th, Assembly work of the Kämpfer at a factory in the colony and the collecting intel on specific EFF military bases were in progress.
By December 19th, UC 0079 disguised as EFF soldiers, the Cyclops Team infiltrated the EFF base housing the RX-78NT-1 Gundam.
At 19:40, the Kämpfer sortied within the colony as a diversionary tact. The EFF Scarlet Team was dispatched from the LMSD-76 Gray Phantom but was quickly annihilated by Cyclops and Heirshy, not long after the engagement leader of Cyclops Team Stiner Hardy orders Heirshy to break ranks and move deeper into the Military section of the colony in order to obtain what information was left. Heirshy agrees and departs the area for his new objective, not knowing that this would be the last time he would see Cyclops Team alive.
At 20:00, the Kämpfer engaged the Gundam "Alex" and was defeated. Cyclops Team captain Steiner Hardy was killed during the firefight in the base. All members of the Cyclops Team were killed except for both Bernard Wiseman and Heirshy, who was not in the area at the time on December 20th UC 0079.
Photograph of Heirshy taken by an unknown Federation Soldier was leaked to Chris in Gundam Alex leading to her locating his exact location, despite Bernard Failed attempts to warn him of Gundam Alex's fast approach toward his position.
Unknown to Heirshy that Team Cyclops was gone and that he and Bernard Wiseman were the only ones left where due to interfearence Bernard's warnings have been unable to reach Heirshy, whom at the time of his official downloading of servers, Herishy was photographed by an unknown Earth Federation Soldier on the 19th of December, where it was soon leaked to Christina Mackenzie who was able to find him, despite multiple orders by her superiors to stand down warning that she does not poessess the piloting skills to battle Hairshy and that an army of elite Ground Gundams were already enroot toward his location.
Christina however eager to prove herself, and finally defeat Black Thunder ignores the warnings of her superiors and intercepts Heirshy before he could leave the area for Concor, where a huge duel is conducted between them.

Despite Christina putting up a decent fight, Heirshy is able to outsmart Chris through the use of his old war tactics, which were known to be the very same ones that he used when encountering Amuro in Gundam since September 16th, UC 0079, and was able to shoot a weak spot within Gundam Alex rendering it inoperable, and wounding Chris in the process.

This was the only picture of Heirshy taken without his helmet in the One Year War, which eventually quickly made its head way throughout the Earth Federation throughout the remaining days of the One Year War that eventually led to Herishy being declared a Man in robotic armor and not an official mobile suit that is piloted by a human, by December 30th, UC 0079, over 10 days after this photograph was taken..
Despite this Heirshy does not kill or destroy the mobile suit, but instead reveals his human head to Chris who was still concious where he compliments her of being quite a warrior and to never give up fighting, before placing his Helmet back on and retreating from the area as Gundam Ground Units arrived to retrive Chris and the wreckage of Gundam Alex.
Heirshy would then escape Side 6 never to return, but left a lasting impact on Christina Mackenzie for the rest of her life, and his words would also go on to impact her greatly during Operation Christmas days later leading to the defeat of the Principality of Zeon completely and the sparing of Side 6 from a nuclear attack.
Aftermath[]
Despite the damage sustained to Gundam Alex, along with Chris's injuries following her failed duel with Heirshy on December 20th, UC 0079, Gundam Alex was pieced back together On December 22, where the Killing usurped his commanding officer and prepared a nuclear attack on Side 6. Von Helsing's fleet was ordered to perform the launch at 12:00 beginning Operation Christmas.
Legacy[]
Heirshy's sparing of Christina Mackenzie was praised by Bernard Wiseman who stated Heirshy's actions would forever be a glorious reveal on the good that the Principality of Zeon has where they are not just seen as space Nazis.
Christina Mackenzie would always remember Heirshy following the duel and would eventually hunt him down decades later during the Zeon Civil War, where she now at the age of 39 would surprise the robotic human at the Battle of Side-9, whom at first he didn't recognize or remember her until she revealed her face.
Chris would then work as an independent Mercenary for the Principality of Zeon but would still remain affiliated for the Earth Federation during the time of the Zeon Civil War, but would tragically be severely wounded on December 12th UC 0097 during the events of Operation Ark during the last days of Nexus Storm. She would eventually survive the Zenora attack and would go on to join the Principality of Zeon by UC 0098 and would serve as Heirshy's Wing Guardians and eventual girlfriend.
