Richard Kox is a ruthless and oppressive dictator, who rules over the Zenora Empire on Eris-7 as Chancellor, and was currently known to be the modern mirror of Gihren Zabi.
During the Zeon Civil War, he was known for glorious inspirational speeches, whom some Neo Zeon forces within the Zenora Ranks actually claimed, that Kox's speeches were a lot better and more inspiring then even Gihren Zabi's speeches during the One Year War.
Richard Kox would be responsible for the initiation of the Zeon Civil War, in hopes of crushing the old Principality of Zeon, and renewing the One Year War, in order to honor the traditions that the Principality of Zeon once had during the One Year War.
He married 20 year old Amaia Hamonaku, on September 28th, UC 0096 about 3 days before the Zenora Empire's Invasion of Side-9 and the beginning of the Zeon Civil War, and was also declared to be oldest out of 4 Siblings, Roxanne Kox, Lillian Kox, Jade Kox, and Johnathan Kox.

Early Years[]
Born from Side 3 on August 22nd, UC 0070, Richard Kox was known to be a supporter of the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War, and was shown to harbor respect for the Regime during the One Year War, where at 9 years old he would always watch the news along with Commander Gihren's speeches on TV, thinking of them as a great inspiration, and how the Principality of Zeon would actually achieve victory.
Unfortunately the Principality of Zeon as the months commenced into November, would eventually be crushed at Odessa along with its official best soldier Heirshy who was wounded by Gundam a day prior to the Federation's take over of Odessa, prompting the 9 year old to be furious. His Anger got the better of him when the Federation won the One Year War, after Kycillia assassinated Gihren and caused the fall of A Baoa Qu, prompting Richard Kox and his 4 siblings to be evacuated from Side 3.
By UC 0088, Richard at 18 Years old joined the Axis in hopes of honoring the Principality of Zeons Defeat in the One Year War not knowing that the Faction was still around at the time. Unfortunately during the Gryps Conflict his dreams of glorifying his own war with the Earth Federation went south when the Gryps Conflict occured, and Neo Zeon forces under Glenn Toto got involved, prompting Kox to flee where he would eventually leave the Solar System on a Neo Zeon Battleship with supporters, which in turn lead to the discover of Eris-7 by UC-0089.
Settling in on Eris-7, Kox and his siblings would spend the next 7 years building on the planet, which in turn Kox himself would rise up as official chancellor of Eris-7, and the newly established Zenora Empire that he was able to create through the use of Neo Zeon forces from Char's failed attempt on dropping Axis onto Earth, along with some of Haman Karn's forces who fled after Haman died in UC 0089.
After discovering the Principality of Zeon is still in existence, a then 26 year old Richard Kox would become excited and relived, where he had hoped to send a messenger over in order to join forces in beginning a second war with the Earth Federation, but is shocked when he finds out that the Principality of Zeon wants nothing to do with the One Year War, and just wanted to live the way they choose.
Enraged and feeling betrayed by the faction he always looked up to, since childhood, Richard Kox and his siblings would declare war against the Principality of Zeon, in hopes of removing the old regime and replacing them with the newer Zenora Empire in hopes of resuming the One Year War against the Federation, and resuming the dream of what the Principality of Zeon had once thought of, back in UC 0079.
On September 28th, UC 0096 he married 20 year old Amaia Hamonaku, who was known to be the Daughter of Fallen Neo Zeon soldier Jacastu Hamonaku, who fled Axis during the Second Neo Zeon War in UC 0089, where she remained in hiding on Orbital Axis, until she relocated to Eris-7 on UC 0095, where she met Richard Kox.
After marrying Amaia Hamonaku, Richard Kox would go before the citizens of the Zenora Empire where he would conduct one last speech on September 30th, UC 0096, announcing his declaration of War against the formal Regime that he once looked upon as heroes, and how the Zenora Empire would take over the Principality of Zeon's role in the Second War against the Earth Federation on its own.
Zenora would Invade Zeon Space a day later by October 1st, UC 0096, with the massacre of Side-9 Colony and the start of the Zeon Civil War.
Zeon Civil War[]
During the first 2 years of the Zeon Civil War, the Principality of Zeon was mostly on the defensive, with the Zenora Empire being successful in a full scale blitz against Zeon Space with the conquering of the Colonies Sierra, Side-9 and Demarco, however despite a Zeon counter attack that occured in December of UC 0096, Zenora would destroy Demarco Colony causing the deaths of millions of civilian and military forces to the Principality of Zeon including themselves.
This would eventually lead to the Battle of Gryps II, in which Kox, had decided to secretly send forces to repair the Colony lazer, in order to use it against the Principality of Zeon incase things should go wrong, in which proved to be a successful counter strike. The Colony Lazer would eventually be destroyed from Zeon forces angering Richard, and eliminating his only Weapon of destruction in order to be used against Side 3 his formal homeland.
In response, Richard would order more Zenora forces into Nexus Sector, further moving the Battle straight toward Side 3 with the Zenora forces even Invading the colony, but the Principality of Zeon was able to repel the Zenora Empire from both Side 3 and Corga, but lost Ruined A Baoa Qu in the Process.
During the time Richard had come up with an official blitzkrieg of Zeon Territory in hopes of over running the Principality of Zeon and crushing Side 3 from 3 different sectors, only for it to backfire with the loss of Ruined A Baoa Qu after Zenora forces detonated the Second portion of the fortress destroying it.
After his first plan had failed, Richard gather his siblings together in order to come up with a second strike against the principality of Zeon while they were weak, only to discover that the Zeon forces had launched a massive counter offensive against Nexus Sector, which in turn promoted Zeonra to abandon all its Invasion attempts of Side 3 and focus its forces around the Nexus Sector Colonies, for if lost, Richard Kox would lose his only strong hold in Zeon Territory.

"The Principality of Zeon, an Army of Spacenoids that I once admired, and that I once cherished, has betrayed its People, and has fallen victim to the Federation's brutal Crimes after the One Year War Ended. But dose this foreshadow us as weak, No! In fact, this betrayal has made us even better then ever, and gave us even more hope, then ever before! Zeon's betrayal has not broken our spirit, but shown us, that the old Regime has declared itself Unfit, to rise up in order to regain its formal glory. However! We the citizens of the modernized Zenora Empire, will not let this happen! In fact, we will make the Principality of Zeon See, that their choice in refusing to cooperate with us, for a second war with the Earth Federation was a grave mistake on their part. For about 5 months, we've tried to convince the Principality of Zeon to join our cause, and become one of us, for 5 months, They have refused. As A mir Boy, and formal resident of Side 3, I now declare myself entirely rid of all respect and loyalty I ever had towards the Principality of Zeon, and as formal soldiers of Neo Zeon, who died by the hundreds during the Wars of UC 0088, 0089 and 0093, you all should look at the Principality of Zeon as Traitors, therefore You should be Enraged at them as much as I am! My Father died, during the war 12 years ago, while fighting along side these people in the Battle of A Baoa Qu,, and them refusing to stand by us, is nothing but a slap to not only my father, but all of the Fallen Heroes who fought along side them during the Dark times of the One Year War. We shall not lose the glorious light that our fathers and mothers had fought fore at the time of the war 12 years ago, and we shall fight the Earth Federation on our own! However, this dose not mean, that the Principality of Zeon, will go unpunished for their actions of Treason against not only Zeon Daikune, but their own words that they said themselves back when I was 8 years old. As of Today! Our forces are ready, they are well trained, Well equipped and fitted with the most powerful Mobile Suits in the history of Man, The Principality of Zeon have nothing but their old equipment, that they used in the war 12 years ago. We will storm Side 3, remove the corrupted Leaders of the Treacherous Old Regime, and take over the role that they should have been. Even if it means destroying the Old Regime, that you all once fought along side. AS OF TODAY! WE ARE NOW THE TRUE PRINCIPALITY OF ZEON! WE ARE The ZENORA EMPIRE!"
