Side 1 Is a colony in space that served as a large mining and Civilian resort conducted entirly out of platforms and earth made structures. Side 1 came under the Occupation of the Principality of Zeon during the early months of the One Year War, and remained under Zeon Control until it's Liberation in the early fall of UC.0079, about 4 days before the Battle of A Boa Qu.
Side 1 is located at Lagrangian point 5 (L5), and is called Zarn. This side serves as the Earth Federation's space capital. This side was also one of the first colonial bunches the Principality of Zeon attacked during the One Week War. Side 1 is home to several colonies, among them Shangri-La, Londenion, 30 Bunch, Island Blade, Island Ease, and the Pia Albanian colony.
